Who we are

This website, 3sidellc.com, is operated by 3SIDE LLC, a California (USA) limited liability company (“3SIDE”, “we”, “us”). 3SIDE LLC is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at info@3sidellc.com.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or send us an enquiry, why we use it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

Information we collect

Enquiry form

When you use the enquiry form we receive your name, your email address, your message, your company and area of interest if you give them, and your confirmation that you agree to us using these details to reply. We use this information only to answer your enquiry and to follow up on it.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when pages are requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the server’s response, the referring page and browser details. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working and are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider.

Visitor statistics

We count visits with Koko Analytics, a statistics tool that runs on our own website. It does not use cookies and does not send any data to Koko Analytics or to anyone else. For each page view it records the page visited, the website you came from (if your browser passes this on) and the date, and adds them to daily totals. To avoid counting the same visitor twice on the same day, it works out a one-way code from your IP address, your browser details and a random value that is replaced every day. That code is kept on our server for no more than about a day and then deleted. Your IP address is not saved, and your location is not recorded. The statistics we keep are totals only and cannot be used to identify you.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or social-media tracking, and our visitor statistics work without cookies. The website loads its fonts and images from our own server, not from third parties. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site.

Why we use your information

We use enquiry details to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. Server logs are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working, and visitor statistics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who receives your information

Enquiries are delivered by email to our mailbox at info@3sidellc.com. Our only service provider for this website and mailbox is Namecheap, Inc. (USA), which provides our web hosting and email (Private Email) and processes data on our behalf. We do not pass your personal data to anyone else unless the law requires us to.

3SIDE LLC and Namecheap are based in the United States, so your information is processed outside the EU and the UK. For transfers of personal data from the EU or the UK, we rely on the standard contractual clauses provided by Namecheap.

How long we keep it

The form does not store enquiries in the website database; each enquiry is sent to our mailbox by email. We keep enquiry emails for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless they lead to a business relationship, in which case we keep them as long as needed for that relationship and our legal obligations. Server logs are kept for the limited period set by our hosting provider. Visitor statistics totals are kept for 24 months and then deleted automatically.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect our use of your data before you withdrew it. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@3sidellc.com. You also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in the country where you live.

California residents

If you live in California, California privacy law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act where it applies, may give you rights to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access, correct or delete it, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. To make a request, contact us at info@3sidellc.com.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, and the form’s emails are sent to our mailbox over an encrypted connection. We limit access to enquiries to the people at 3SIDE who need to answer them.
